Mr. He Zhiya, Chairman of CIOB China (West) and Ms Li Wenping, Council Member of CIOB China (West) were invited by China Democratic National Construction Association of Yi Bin city to have a 2-day visit to historic and cultural city in Yi Bin on 14th Dec. 2011. The leaders of Cui Ping District gave their warm welcome.
2011年12月14日，受宜宾市中国民主建国会的邀请，CIOB中国（西部区）主席，重庆历史文化名城专委会主任何智亚先生（FCIOB）和CIOB中国（西部区）委员、重庆历史文化名城专委会委员李文平女士（FCIOB）到宜宾市进行了为期两天的历史文化名城专题考察。宜宾市翠屏区统战部部长袁向东等同志热情地接待了何智亚主席一行，考察了宜宾翠屏区李庄古镇、南广镇陈塘关社区、翠屏区冠英街、滇南会馆和屏山县龙华古镇。

At the afternoon forum, Mr. He made the preliminary analysis and put forward good suggestions on protection of historic and cultural cities as well as tourism development. Mr. He emphasizes how to protect and preserve some historic heritage and special buildings in the process of city development and reconstruction becomes the important question which the government is facing.
下午，何智亚主席与宜宾市、翠屏区民建区委、翠屏区政府及有关部门负责人在民建翠屏区委会议室进行了座谈。在座谈会上，何主席对翠屏区的历史文化古镇和历史街区的保护及旅游开发进行了初步分析，提出了有益的建议意见。何主席强调，在城市发展改造过程中，如何注意保护、保留一些有代表的历史街区和特色建筑，如何通过规划、维修、整治、利用，使它们得以再生和延续传承，留下城市发展过程的脉络和记忆，这是政府需要面对和重视的问题。
